Default war/ele or war/monk

When i first started GW i was thinking about war/ele and decided to use this build :

Victory is Mine! {E}
Sprint
Gash
Sever Artery
Frenzy
Hundred Blades
Conjure Flame
Immolate

but now after 7 days of playing i read warrior/monks were realy good in pvp?

So is my build (war/ele) considerd weak or would it be good?

And/or should i change to warrior/monk when im at the point that i can change my secondary profession?

If u have a good monk(s) backing u up then w/e is better then wmo because you do more dmg and have range atacks for runners. A w/mo will use smite instead of healing cause they shoudlnt need their own healing wont do as much dmg using their smite line. So in guild groups and organized pvP W/e is probably better. In arenas and pick up groups I am more comfterble using wmo.

*EDIT*Also in your build, i would take hamstring instead of sprint. Yes it's not as useful defensivly like runing away or carrying flags, but if u are trying to stop runners it lets your whole team wack em as they barely move, not just u with sprint, also it gives u an extra condition to feed victory is mine.

Everyone and their mom does Wa/Mo, be unique (or rather, a little less cookie-cutter).

From what I hear, you can change your secondary via certain quests once you're on level 20.

so overall would my war/ele be good enough to compete in HoH?

W/Mo is more popular, not necessarily better. People like monk as a subclass because it gives them a safety cushion to keep themselves alive. In PvP, that's not worth very much since Warriors are the very last target anyway and once you're alone all the healing in the world isn't going to help you. Some people choose it for Smiting, which is a pretty good line, but Elementalist still means more damage. W/Mo is a cookie-cutter profession choice and there's no doubt that it's an effective build, but there's nothing wrong with yours either.

W/E, hands down. (Well, W/Mo Smiters are badass, and Protector could be useful for self-buffs).

You could:

Fire - Crowd control, Burst damage, DoT, Easy Conjure (in that dragon swords in the late game come pre-equipped with fire damage... no need for a new hilt). That's my primary build, by the way.

Water - Warriors need to be able to slow their enemies, because people like to run from them. Ice spells allow you to do just that. High Energy costs on ALL Water spells (at least that I've found) make this somewhat less appealing.

Earth - Protective magics.. Warrior = Tank. Warrior + Earth Elementalist = Supertank.

Air - Lots of people consider this to be the best element for a warrior, but I'm not sure I agree. Air provides the best elementalist damage vs. single targets (along with armor piercing)... but you're a Warrior. You're ALREADY at your best vs. single targets, and you ALREADY pierce armor with strength. Fire is better, because it gives you a type of damage (multiple enemy) that you aren't already a master of.

Sorry to lower your hopes...but you really need an organized team to actually win HoH. Most cases you see actual guilds holding the HoH, because they can make certain team builds that work well in HoH.

However, I've personally been with really good PUGs back in the betas too and actually win HoH. So it is not entirely impossible....

Also I recommend you to take some interruption skills...since your initial targets will always be casters.

Well, Your character will be good to go into the hall of heros, but remember- one person alone isnt good enough. You need to have an organised team to get that far in the tombs
